California's Great America :: 2008 Halloween Haunt Sneek Peek 10/27/07 Even the park's hay maze in the Nickelodeon Central kid place was fully decorated for Halloween. -[ Click to Enlarge Photo ]- Amazingly large whitches hat next to the hay maze. -[ Click to Enlarge Photo ]- In Boomerang Bay the park featured a kid's foam pit. -[ Click to Enlarge Photo ]- More park decorations... -[ Click to Enlarge Photo ]- -[ Click to Enlarge Photo ]- -[ Click to Enlarge Photo ]- Even some of the rides got some special theming. Eagle Flyers was now ghostly. -[ Click to Enlarge Photo ]- Each gondola had a different ghost decal on it. They looked very nice. -[ Click to Enlarge Photo ]- The tunnels on the bridges and parts of the midways were covered in creepy spider webs and ghouls. -[ Click to Enlarge Photo ]- We leave off with a couple of shots of the great Carnevil haunted house. It provided tons of scares and it is great for everyone! -[ Click to Enlarge Photo ]- Please be sure to check out Halloween Haunt in it's full force next year at Califonia's Great America in 2008! -[ click to Enlarge Photo ]- Notes » First off we would like to thank California's Great America for inviting us to their 2008 Sneek Peek of Halloween Haunt and we are very excited to see what they have in store for their 2008 season. » Carnevil was AMAZING! It was our very first 3D haunted maze we have ever been in and it was well worth it. Around every corner was a scare and even without wearing the 3D glasses, the attraction was extremely thrilling. » Normally all the haunted houses we've been in took approximately 2-3 minutes to go through. Well... this one took an amazing 5-6 min to walk through! Almost twice as long as anything we've gone through! How did they fit everything inside that house!? » On the more mellow side of the park atmosphere was the great daily parade the park puts on for their guests. It included almost every Nicktoon character and show while matching the whole thing to exciting dances and music! » All in all the whole Halloween experience at the park was very fun and we would definitely go back again in a heartbeat.
