Six Flags Discovery Kingdom :: Medusa & Boomerang Repainting 11/30/07 About 2/3 of the coaster are left to be repainted. -[ Click to Enlarge Photo ]- The partially done newly repainted Medusa on the right and the World's Tallest Christmas Tree on the left! -[ Click to Enlarge Photo ]- Also, Boomerang on the other side of the park is being repainted it's original colors also. You can notice the rich turquoise color near the top of the lifts and the old faded paint lower on the lifts. -[ Click to Enlarge Photo ]- Notes » Medusa as well as Boomerang will be repainted with their original colors giving them a fresh new look. » The new paint is very shiny and is very rich in color. » Both Boomerang and Medusa should re-open as soon as painting finishes. » All in all the repainting looks to be going along very smoothly and is moving along very fast.
